Aviation Minister Urged To Restore Flight Services, Infra At Vizag Airport

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Air Travelers Association (APATA) has sought the intervention of Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu for improving the existing infrastructure and amenities at the Visakhapatnam International Airport and use his good offices for restoration of services withdrawn from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo and Dubai.
After meeting him, APATA office-bearers K Kumar Raja, O Naresh Kumar and DS Varma said in a statement here that under the leadership of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, they are optimistic on the growth plans and huge investments in Andhra Pradesh. Visakhapatnam is the 10th richest city in India with a GDP of $43.5 billion and it is the IT & Industrial Hub of Andhra Pradesh.
The statement said during this month, two flights to Vijayawada from Visakhapatnam and international flights to Bangkok and Kaulalampur have been withdrawn.
